Taylor Pulhamus Hairstylist
✩ New Artist ✩ Taylor graduated from cosmetology school in 2025 and is thrilled to be doing hair and working alongside the talented stylists at berenices! She loves all forms of cutting and coloring, with a passion for lived-in color and balayage.
Taylor has a strong interest in all things crafty. She enjoys sewing, cross-stitching, crocheting, and creating custom quilts—ideally while having a delicious iced coffee.

Sara Deras Barber & Hairstylist
Licensed since 2011, Sara brought her love for hair to berenices in 2024. She has skill in all kinds of cuts—fades, tapers, long layers, pixies—and enjoys blonding and vibrant colors.
In her free time, you’ll likely find her at a local coffee shop, browsing plant stores, sipping something hoppy at a brewery, or out on the hiking trails. She also adores live music and concerts.

Kym Heap Esthetician & Hairstylist
Licensed since 2013, Kym has built her career balancing a love for both skin and hair care. She specializes in facials, lash lifts, blonding, and textured cuts. After joining berenices in 2016, she returned in 2023, bringing even more depth and experience to her work.
Kym taught at the Aveda Institute Denver for many years and is now pursuing her bachelor’s degree in psychology. When she’s not working or studying, she’s out hiking, skiing, ice skating, and loving on her dogs.

Victoria Collins Hairstylist
Tori graduated from cosmetology school in 2021 and joined the berenices team in 2022. She’s passionate about all things color—from lived-in balayage and bold fashion hues to long layers and creative cuts.
A self-proclaimed music nerd, you can usually find her at a show on the weekend, cooking up something delicious at home, or hanging out with her cats.

Passion: Julie loves blondes and short haircuts and can make fine/thin hair look voluptuous. She strives to have clients feel & look beautiful after leaving her chair.

Passion: I'm passionate about caring for my guests and helping them feel like their best selves.
Kaylee also enjoys haircuts, extensions, and color services of virtually all lengths, textures, and shades.

Ashley Lysaught Hairstylist/Co-Owner
Ashley graduated from cosmetology school in 2002 and joined berenices in 2007. As co-owner, she brings a grounded, positive presence to both the team and the guests.
Behind the chair, she loves all things color (especially blonding) and enjoys working with each client’s natural texture to create effortless styles.
Outside the salon, Ashley enjoys being active outdoors, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.

Melissa Lago Hairstylist
Melissa joined berenices as a new stylist in 2006 and has grown alongside it ever since. Behind the chair, she loves both custom color and cutting, and finds joy in doing hair while connecting with guests of all ages.
She’s also passionate about business, the team, and supporting growth through thoughtful operations.
Melissa enjoys the summer months, traveling and spending time with the people she loves.
